Giveaway to Celebrate 50th Book

I'm finishing up my 50th book today!  Like I've said before, this is the first year I've kept track of what I've read since January 1st.  While I've made a dent in my reading list, there is still so much more waiting at home to read.

But with that in mind, I'm celebrating reaching the half-way point in my 100 Book Reading Challenge.  I'm giving away a gift card to either Barnes and Noble or Amazon.  You win, you decide which one you want.

How to enter this giveaway?  Post a comment telling me what your favorite book has been so far this year.  If you haven't joined my blog, please do so!  If I may say so myself, it's a great blog, and I read every book I talk about--no one else helps me.

I will pick a winner next Monday, May 16th.  You have a week!

  1. I think my favorite so far this year was The Discovery of Witches...I was going to say One Day but that was last year. I am reading How to be Single" right now and loving it. Of course I am also reading The Paris Wife and loving that as well.

  2. Aren't you just the giveaway queen this year girlie! Congrats on your 50 books, I have 8 books now sitting on my counter in various stages of being read. None of which I am particularly enjoying... but if I had to choose one, probably "Life is a Verb".

    You are pretty inspiring Sue!

  5. My favourite book so far this year is The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society by Mary Ann Shaffer and Annie Barrows.

I'm impressed by your objective. I might have to give it a try myself. ;)

  6. Favorite book so far this year is Folly Beach by Karen White. I couldn't put it down and was sad when I finished because I didn't want it to end. Haven't felt that way about a book in a long time.

  7. Unfortunately most of the books that I have read this year haven't been too spectacular. But I would have to say that my favorite has been The Passage. I haven't read as many as you but I'm slowly getting there. I'm reading When We Were Strangers now and so far, so good. Congrats on 50!
